Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially sharp and execution-driven (Senior) Legal Counsel to support Circles global growth across multiple business lines and geographies.

This is a high-impact role operating at the intersection of SaaS, telecom, and digital services. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, owning complex legal matters end-to-end while enabling rapid, well-informed decision-making in a fast-scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal point of contact for the business across multiple regions and functions
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, enterprise, and partnership contracts
• Support and lead legal aspects of strategic transactions, including M&A, investments, and joint ventures
• Provide clear, practical, and commercially grounded legal advice to stakeholders across sales, product, and operations
• Advise on regulatory frameworks across telecom, technology, and digital services in multiple jurisdictions
• Support market entry initiatives, including entity setup, licensing, and regulatory approvals
• Advise on legal and regulatory risks across product development, marketing, and go-to-market activities
• Provide guidance on data protection, privacy, and cross-border data flows
• Draft, review, and implement internal policies, governance frameworks, and legal processes
• Manage external counsel across jurisdictions to ensure efficient and high-quality support

Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm and in-house exposure
• Strong experience in commercial contracting and complex negotiations in tech, SaaS, or telecom environments
• Proven track record working on cross-border matters and multi-jurisdictional deals
• Experience supporting or leading M&A, investments, or corporate transactions as an advantage
• An understanding of TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) regulatory environments would be helpful
• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial outcomes
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
