About the Role
We are seeking a qualified lawyer to support a major intragroup corporate transaction involving the transfer of assets and liabilities across multiple business and functional divisions. Reporting to a member of the Legal Leadership Team in Singapore, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers on due diligence, contract repapering, and cross-border legal coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support legal workstreams for a large-scale corporate transaction and other strategic legal projects.
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence activities, including maintaining trackers, analysing findings, and preparing reports for stakeholders and governance committees.
- Assist with contract repapering activities, including reviewing, updating, and coordinating execution of client and vendor agreements.
- Coordinate foreign law advice across multiple jurisdictions, managing external counsel instructions, deliverables, timelines, and reporting.
- Identify and help manage legal risks in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax, and business teams.
- Provide practical and commercially focused legal support on a range of matters as assigned.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 2-7 years post-qualification experience.
- Established legal practitioner with experience in corporate transactions and large-scale due diligence exercises.
- Experience coordinating external legal advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound judgement, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling a broad range of legal issues.
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience using AI-enabled legal tools and technologies would be good to have.
