Role Overview

You will be responsible for leading and managing complex network operations, troubleshooting major incidents, designing enterprise and data center networks, driving network enhancements, and supporting critical Day-2 operations (P2-P3). This role requires strong technical depth, problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide engineers through escalations.

Ideal Candidate Profile Required

  • Degree in IT/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 6-10 years of strong network engineering experience
  • Solid hands-on expertise in enterprise & data center network environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and escalation management capability
  • Good understanding of modern SDN/ACI/SD-WAN technologies
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • CCNP required CCIE preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents and underlying infrastructure issues
  • Lead problem management and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Manage end-to-end technical issues within defined SLAs
  • Perform high-complexity infrastructure configuration and support
  • Develop action plans and timelines for network/infrastructure upgrades
  • Propose network improvements based on current and future business needs
  • Conduct pre-implementation testing for upgrades and changes
  • Prepare user guides, SOPs, and training materials
  • Troubleshoot using SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, Wireshark, and other diagnostic tools
  • Review network performance and optimize for business outcomes
  • Evaluate and approve high-complexity change requests
  • Lead recovery and resolution efforts for network downtime
  • Manage updates, patches, and maintenance rollouts
  • Configure and monitor SDN applications and controllers
  • Adjust network-wide traffic flow in response to changing demands
  • Establish new SOPs and ensure compliance by engineering teams
  • Categorize, document, and implement workarounds for incidents/problems
  • Mentor engineers and handle all technical escalations in Day-2 operations
