Role Purpose
Provide end-to-end technical support for Business Unit (BU) Security & Access Control Systems (ACS), covering both existing maintenance-phase systems and upcoming initiatives. This role works closely with the BU Project Manager to ensure solution designs, changes, and vendor deliveries are technically sound, aligned with enterprise architecture and ITSS/OTSS standards, and operationally supportable.
This role provides technical consultation and governance support and does not hold final approval authority for ACS projects or changes.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
1. Technical Advisory & Architecture Governance
- Provide technical guidance to BU and vendors across ACS systems and new initiatives
- Review solution designs to ensure alignment with PSA architecture, scalability, feasibility, and long-term supportability
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints across the system lifecycle
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for BU
2. Tender & Solution Evaluation
- Draft and review technical tender specifications
- Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend suitable technical solutions
- Assess feasibility, system integration impact and long-term maintainability
3. Change Governance, Testing & Deployment
- Validate vendor impact analysis covering dependencies, security, performance, regression scope, and rollback readiness
- Review test planning, including SIT and UAT
- Oversee or support acceptance testing to ensure systems are stable and meet requirements
- Support deployment and rollout activities to ensure smooth transition into production
- Ensure systems are operationally ready before handover
- Support governance review of implementation submissions
4. Day-2 Operations, Vendor & Compliance
- Support BU in Day-2 operations and service level monitoring
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors for incident resolution (vendor as L2)
- Review vendor performance, effort estimates, solution approaches, and delivery quality
- Support system audits and ensure compliance with ITSS/OTSS, cybersecurity and PDPA
- Identify recurring issues and work with vendors on improvements
5. Cross-Team & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors to align technical decisions and resolve issues
- Ensure environment readiness across DEV / SIT / PROD for testing and deployment
- Facilitate cross-domain discussions to manage integration dependencies and risks
6. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Communicate technical risks, constraints, and major issues to stakeholders
- Present solution options, trade-offs, and recommendations to support decisions
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
Skills Required:
Technical
- Strong understanding of SDLC, application support and maintenance models
- Knowledge of infrastructure, network, and security dependencies
- Familiarity with testing and release management practices
- Ability to assess technical designs and vendor proposals
Leadership & Advisory
- Stakeholder engagement and communication across business and technical teams
- Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
- Structured problem-solving with sound risk judgment
- Ability to explain technical matters clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
