Managing lab technician/associate ICP-OES analysis and other lab activities to support the manufacturing of our product
Organize and maintain lab document and records, proper housekeeping and equipment maintenance
Raise payment request and monitor and maintain optimum inventory level for pure metals, masteralloys and lab supplies through proper planning and scheduling
Troubleshoot and solve the daily analysis related issues. Review analysis report periodically for abnormalities
Monitor equipment condition, calibration, preventive maintenance. Liaise with vendor to fix the breakdown equipment
Define work instruction, procedure and record form for lab technician and operation
Update statistical data and monitor SPC trend
Enforce and ensure compliances to 7S requirements and ICP lab procedures and work instructions
Maintain proper backup and functioning of various databases in the lab
Plan daily activities to improve the lab workflow and efficiency
Ad hoc project and tasks that may arise and allocated by immediate supervisor. Support operations like CAR/Work Cell/SWR activities
Job Requirement:
Min degree in Chemical Process Technology or chemical engineering, chemistry related studies
Min 4 years of laboratory experience
Working knowledge of laboratory is necessary
Experience in ICP-OES, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, titrator is advantageous
