As an AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer, you will identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities within our AWS infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans across AWS services.
- Implement AWS security best practices, including configuring IAM policies, security groups, and monitoring tools, and maintain VMS applications such as Tenable.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with security trends, tools, and AWS features to strengthen our security posture.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports on findings and remediations for management and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cloud security, especially within AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and vulnerability assessment.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and security tools like Tenable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant AWS or RHEL certifications are a plus.
