Senior Java/J2EE Developer

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Java/J2EE Developer. The ideal candidate will have strong background in Java development, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservice architectures.

Location : Singapore (onsite)

Experience : 7+ years

Type : Contract - 6+ 6 months (potential to extend)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java, J2EE
• Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications
• Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services
• Work with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Implement business logic and backend services
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and frontend teams
• Support deployment, releases, and production issues
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices
