Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support network environments including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms.
- Maintain servers, network devices, and security systems with proactive issue resolution.
- Support infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and integration with internal systems.
- Monitor and manage IT and security infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvements with minimal downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance for servers, endpoints, and network devices.
- Support backup operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Provide technical support and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
- Recommend improvements and new technologies to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
- Coordinate procurement, implementation, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare project documentation, timelines, and progress updates.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong hands-on experience with servers, networking equipment, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong technical capability in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Understanding of infrastructure security practices, including patching, access control, and vulnerability management.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, or VCP are advantageous.
