Senior IT Security Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Work hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm

Adecco is partnering with recognised organisation and they are looking for Senior IT Security Engineer (L3) to join the Team! A great opportunity to work with the company who value growth opportunities, trainings and diversity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the security partner to project teams across build, maintenance phases and on all information security matters
• Support information security strategy and continuous improvement of agile security processes
• Ensure security best practices are incorporated into solution design and development
• Assist in implementing security requirements and defining verification criteria
• Participate in solution integration and validate compliance with security requirements
• Support IT security requirements and provide security consultancy for projects and business opportunities
• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and recommend mitigation measures for systems and projects
• Serve as the technical security contact for customers, addressing queries and proposing suitable solutions
• Collaborate with teams to implement and support security solutions, including firewalls, SIEM, 2FA, patching and incident management

Requirements:

• Degree in IT/Computer Science with min. 7 years of IT security experience, covering at least two domains (applications, network, system, data or cloud security)
• Strong hands-on skills with firewalls, IDS/IPS, AV, IAM/PIM, and good understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, mobile tech or virtualization.
• Ability to script (Shell/Python/Perl) and familiarity with secure SDLC and major security standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP
