Senior IT/IT Specialist, Deployment, Air & Sea IT, SGP

IT Deployment & Implementation

• Lead and execute end-to-end deployment of Air & Sea IT applications, infrastructure, and integrations within Singapore and assigned regional locations.

• Coordinate deployment activities including planning, configuration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

• Ensure deployments follow global IT standards, security policies, and architectural guidelines.

• Manage hypercare and stabilization phases to ensure smooth transition to operations.

Air & Sea IT Application Support

• Provide senior-level support for Air & Sea freight systems (e.g., booking, execution, tracking, billing, documentation).

• Act as a subject matter expert for operational IT solutions supporting freight forwarding and logistics processes.

• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and data issues across multiple systems.

• Liaise with vendors and global IT teams for issue resolution and enhancements.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for local and regional Air & Sea business stakeholders in Singapore.

• Translate business and operational requirements into technical deployment and support actions.

• Coordinate with external vendors, system integrators, and service providers to ensure delivery quality.

• Communicate deployment status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure IT deployments comply with internal governance, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements.

• Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities related to IT systems.

• Maintain accurate system documentation, deployment records, and operational procedures.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.

• Support system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management activities.

• Share best practices and lessons learned with regional and global IT teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6-10 years of experience in IT deployment, implementation, or senior application support roles.

• Proven experience supporting logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain IT systems (Air & Sea preferred).

• Strong experience with enterprise application deployments, integrations, and operational support.

• Experience working in a regional or global IT environment.
