Senior IT Infrastructure Security Lead (Manufacturing Domain)

We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Security Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and reliable IT infrastructure. This role focuses on strengthening core infrastructure systems across Linux and Microsoft environments, while ensuring robust cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and enhance IT infrastructure systems with a strong focus on security, reliability, and high availability.
2. Design and maintain network and system architecture, ensuring alignment with business and cybersecurity requirements.
3. Oversee performance and security of servers, storage, backups, and network environments across Linux a nd Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory).
4. Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices, including OS hardening, patching, and access controls.
5. Support and lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, expansions, and cybersecurity enhancements.
6. Monitor IT systems proactively, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of incidents in line with SLAs.
7. Provide Level 3 infrastructure support, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and executing disaster recovery plans.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, corporate IT, and vendors to deliver secure and scalable solutions.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with strong hands-on expertise in both Linux and Microsoft environments.
2. Solid understanding of core infrastructure components, including servers, virtualization, storage, and networking (WAN/LAN, VPN, VLAN, DNS).
3. Strong exposure to cybersecurity practices and tools, such as SIEM and endpoint protection solutions (EDR/MDR/MDM).
4. Experience in system provisioning, patch management, centralized logging, and infrastructure monitoring.
5. Proven ability to troubleshoot and support enterprise infrastructure environments, ideally within a 24/7 operational setup.
6. Relevant cybersecurity or infrastructure certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, RHCSA, ISO27001) are highly preferred.

Preferred:

1. Experience supporting manufacturing or highly available production environments.
2. Background in infrastructure scaling, capacity planning, and network/security optimization.
