Green Link Digital Bank is looking for a dedicated Senior IT Governance Associate to support the development and implementation of IT governance frameworks. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and assisting in aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Act as Line 1.5 for IT Governance: Serve as the intermediary between the first line of defence (business units) and the second line of defence (risk management), ensuring robust IT governance and risk management practices.
- Support IT Governance Frameworks: Assist in the design and enforcement of IT governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective IT management and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Help ensure all IT activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT-related risks to protect the bank's information assets.
- Strategic Alignment: Support the alignment of IT strategies with business goals to contribute to the bank's overall mission and objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Help establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of IT governance practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, business units, and external regulators to ensure IT governance aligns with organizational needs.
- Help and assist IT audits or any control assessments related to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Review and Enhance IT Policies and Procedures: Regularly review and update existing IT policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Third Party oversight: Maintain and align vendor governance practices to ensure consistent evaluation, onboarding, and oversight of IT vendors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, or ITIL are preferred.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
