Job Summary
We are hiring a Junior/Senior IT Engineer to support and enhance Shop Floor Automation applications in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of factory automation experience, Oracle SQL knowledge, and exposure to MES, SECS, or TIBCO.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields, Or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent fields.
- Must have 3 years of working experience in Equipment Manager Automation solutions
- Must have 2 years hands- on exp in relevant industry (semicon/ Manufacturing/ high-tech production environment) who supports factory automation systems
- Required strong hands on experience in to SQL
- Good understanding of Oracle.
Desired Skill-set
- MES, TIB/RV and shop floor automation Good to have.
- SECS (SEMI Equipment Communication Standard) and Tibco (TIB / RV)
- Executing fab automation project cycle and CIM products (SPC, RMS, MES
- High technology manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintenance and continuous improvements of assigned Shop Floor Automation (SFA) applications and components.
- Provide 24x7 Level 1 & 2 support for the proper operation of Production lines
- Work with other IT teams towards common goal of improving system response time and maximizing system availability
- Gather requirements to design, develop and deploy new versions of SFA applications especially Equipment Manager automation solutions
- Documentation of requirements and coordination of enhancements in the assigned area
- Plan, coordinate and conduct training for assigned applications
- Work with other sections and departments on productivity enhancements, error / cost reductions and other improvement projects as and when needed.
