We are working with a leading financial institution to appoint a Senior IT Audit Manager, dedicated to IT infrastructure audits. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of infrastructure environments, and we are also open to considering strong infrastructure professionals who wish to transition into IT audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform IT audits across critical infrastructure domains, including networks, databases, operating systems, middleware, and cloud platforms.
- Evaluate IT general controls and assess the effectiveness of infrastructure management practices across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Review system configurations, access controls, change management, performance, and resiliency safeguards.
- Identify risks and control gaps, providing clear, actionable recommendations to strengthen infrastructure governance.
- Produce comprehensive audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Contribute subject-matter input to the IT audit plan, ensuring infrastructure coverage aligns with emerging technologies and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of professional experience, with significant expertise in IT infrastructure and/or infrastructure audits.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure domains: networks (LAN/WAN/firewalls), databases, operating systems (Windows, UNIX/Linux), middleware, and cloud service providers.
- Familiarity with regulatory and industry frameworks such as MAS TRM, COBIT, ISO standards, and ITIL.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or equivalent are preferred, though not mandatory for candidates with strong infrastructure backgrounds.
- Excellent analytical skills and effective communication abilities to influence and manage stakeholders.
