Job description:
Product Management & Development
- Manage the lifecycle of CMI's Internet, IPT, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Connect and AI Connectivity portfolio within the APAC region.
- Develop and enhance product capabilities, features and service offerings based on market requirements and customer demand.
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking and technology assessments to ensure product competitiveness and relevance.
- Work closely with HQ and internal stakeholders to define product roadmap, policies and operational processes.
- Support new product introduction, customization requests and strategic investment initiatives through business case analysis.
- Ensure product specifications, service descriptions and operational documentation are maintained and communicated effectively across APAC.
Solution Consulting & Presales
- Act as the regional subject matter expert for Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, AI Connectivity and Data Centre solutions.
- Engage customers alongside Sales Units to understand business, technical and commercial requirements, translating them into end-to-end connectivity solutions.
- Lead solution design activities, including network architecture, service topology, resiliency planning, cloud connectivity and service migration strategies.
- Support customer workshops, technical presentations, executive briefings and solution demonstrations.
- Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender submissions, ensuring solution feasibility, compliance and competitiveness.
- Provide technical consultancy and solution recommendations to enterprise, carrier and strategic customers.
- Coordinate with Product, Network Planning, Engineering, Delivery and Operations teams to ensure successful solution development and implementation.
Business Support & Enablement
- Provide pricing guidance, commercial support and solution positioning to regional Sales Units.
- Support major projects and strategic opportunities across APAC, including AI infrastructure, DCI, Cloud On-Ramp, Backbone and Submarine Cable connectivity projects.
- Conduct product and solution enablement training for Sales Units and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support regional business development initiatives and contribute towards revenue and growth targets.
- Monitor customer feedback and market developments to identify opportunities for service enhancement and business growth.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Solution Consulting, Presales or Network Solution Architecture within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of DIA, IPT, MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity and Layer 3 networking technologies.
- Knowledge of AI Connectivity, Data Centre Interconnect (DCI), Backbone Networks and Submarine Cable services will be an advantage.
- Experience supporting RFI, RFQ, RFP and tender opportunities for enterprise and carrier customers.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel within the APAC region as required.
