Role Description

New Dimensions Capital is seeking a full-time on-site Senior Investment Analyst & Advisor to join our team in Singapore. The role entails conducting thorough investment research, developing financial models, analyzing market trends, back testing portfolios and providing tailored investment advice to our clients.

Responsibilities include crafting portfolio strategies, managing investment portfolios, and delivering data-driven insights to optimize financial growth.

To support our private markets investment activities acrossprivate equity, private credit, and real estate strategies. The role involvesend-to-end investment due diligence, fund analysis, portfolio monitoring, and investment committee support, working closely with senior leadership in a lean, high-performing environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analytical depth, cross-asset learning, and taking ownership across the full investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Due Diligence & Research

  • Conduct comprehensivemanager and fund-level due diligenceacross private equity, private credit, and real estate funds.
  • Analyse fund strategy, team structure, track record attribution, pipeline visibility, and competitive differentiation.
  • Review fund documentation includingPPMs, LPAs, due-diligence questionnaires (DDQs), financial statements,anddeal histories.
  • Performreference checks, peer benchmarking, and market/sector research.
  • Prepare clear, conciseDD findings, red flags, mitigants,andkey risksfor internal review.

2. Quantitative Fund Analysis

  • Build and maintainfund modelsincluding:
  • return attribution (IRR/MOIC/DPI/RVPI)
  • vintage-level comparisons
  • pacing/cashflow projections
  • sensitivity analysis & scenario modelling
  • Benchmark managers using data sources such as Bloomberg or Preqin.
  • Analyse performance drivers, fee structures, liquidity terms, and fund economics.

3. Portfolio Management & Monitoring

  • Track and monitor existing investments across private market portfolios.
  • Maintain quarterly reporting, NAV updates, exposures, distributions, and performance dashboards.
  • Evaluate ongoing fund performance vs underwriting expectations.
  • Prepare portfolio commentary, variance analysis, and risk monitoring materials.

4. Investment Committee Support

  • Prepareinvestment memos, recommendation decks, and comparative fund analyses for IC review.
  • Summarise key findings, risks, thesis points, and justification for allocation decisions.
  • Participate in IC discussions and incorporate feedback into analysis and recommendations.
  • Write weekly and monthly bulletin reports.

5. GP Engagement & Market Coverage

  • Coordinate and joinGP meetings, due diligence calls, and site visits.
  • Maintain a live pipeline of opportunities across funds not limited to PE/credit/real estate.
  • Build and deepen working relationships with fund managers, placement agents, and intermediaries.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Investments and Portfolio Management, with the ability to develop and execute tailored strategies
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Financial Modeling to analyze market data and create detailed financial reports
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance principles and market trends guiding effective decision-making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team collaboration
  • Proficiency in financial tools and analysis software is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Masters in Finance preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) are preferred
  • Prior experience in fund management or family office financial advisory is highly valued
