Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage interior design projects from initial concept through to completion
  • Act as the primary client-facing contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into creative and practical design solutions
  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and detailed documentation
  • Prepare drawings and 3D visualisations
  • Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is achieved
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to maintain high design standards
  • Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting, FFE Selections and have an eye for the material selections

Requirements

  • Degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience, with strong experience in client-facing roles and end-to-end project delivery
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
