Responsibilities

  • Review client technical documents, specifications, and project requirements
  • Define ICA engineering scope and requirements for assigned projects
  • Prepare and evaluate technical documents for instrumentation and control system procurement
  • Provide senior technical support to project teams during engineering, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Optimize ICA system designs for cost, reliability, maintainability, and compliance
  • Prepare and review specifications for instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, and Fire & Gas systems
  • Develop and review control philosophies and functional analyses (Control, ESD, F&G)
  • Implement and verify instrumentation detail design on P&IDs
  • Prepare and review instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, and hook‑up drawings
  • Oversee detailed engineering activities including layouts, cabling, routing, and supports
  • Plan, conduct, and witness FAT, SAT, and testing & commissioning activities
  • Design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA systems
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support junior engineers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Automation Engineering, or related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in ICA engineering within energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in power, water/wastewater, or renewable energy projects is preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, and Fire & Gas systems
  • Proficient in P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrumentation specifications, and control system architecture
  • Knowledge of local standards, service providers, and solutions related to water and wastewater treatment
  • Hands‑on experience with FAT, site testing, and commissioning

  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Able to work independently and lead within project teams
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance
