Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection as per daily inspections requests/job assigned by QA Trainee Technicians/Technicians.
- Co-ordinate with production QC on inspection and quality-controlled activities.
- Report to QA Engineers/QA Technicians with regards to any non-compliance or discrepancies found during inspections.
- Be familiar and experienced with following telecom systems:
- Electrical systems for telecom (AC, DC 12/24/48 and UPS)
- PAGA Public Address and General Alarms
- UHF Active Repeater;
- CCTV;
- WLAN WFI system;
- Network cables Electrical and Fiber Optical;
- Radio systems (UHF and VHF fixed and portable communications);
- Inspect mechanical completion for devices and cables in accordance with best practice, international standards and project documents.
- Perform functional tests for all telecom equipment according to operational manuals, international standards and project documents
- Perform Telecom related Equipment and material inspection during receiving meet the purchase specifications.
- Check for protection and preservation of Telecom devices and cables
- Assign the systems to be tested to the various supervisors and technicians involved in the operation.
- Ensure the Quality work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with all sections for Inspection & testing requirements.
- Liaise with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirements.
- Coordinate the testing/commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors.
- Report and non-conformance and issue Improvement note, where necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of project.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Work Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Telecom Technician; Telecom Engineering or Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Telecom
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience, 3 years in marine construction and installations
- Familiar with word/Excel/quality software
