This pivotal new role is with a globally recognized, premium provider of business and management degrees, holding a distinguished international footprint and strong heritage. Known for its rigorous academic standards and prestige, the institution is establishing a strategic Innovation Hub in the APAC region and seeks a senior academic or knowledge leader to serve as the intellectual anchor. This figure will define the agenda for human-centered innovation, positioning the institution as a thought leader in the experience economy.

Responsibilities

The core function of this position is centered on knowledge creation and strategic delivery. The Senior Innovation Academic will design, develop, and deliver high-impact executive education programs, advanced EMBA/Masters modules, and specialised DBA content. In addition, you will act as an innovation coach, guiding major regional organizations through transformation journeys in critical industries such as Tourism, Luxury, Wellness, and Private Wealth Management.

You will serve as the academic expert within a dedicated team responsible for the operational execution of competitions and incubation projects, ensuring the intellectual rigour of all activities. Unlike deep-tech R&D roles, the focus here is on applied, human-centric innovation - addressing the behavioral dynamics of design thinking, service excellence, and organizational agility.

Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned candidate whose background is rooted in esteemed academia or university-affiliated innovation and venture-building units. The ideal profile possesses exceptional expertise in strategic program design, with a track record in developing cutting-edge curricula in the field of Innovation, complemented by practical high-level business coaching experience. Candidates would ideally possess strong academic credibility; we are seeking a true knowledge creator.

This highly strategic role offers significant autonomy, including flexible engagement options (full-time or part-time), and a globally visible platform. Some regional travel will be required to execute the mandate, empowering the successful candidate to establish this hub as a regional powerhouse for innovation education.
