Job Description

Our client is a global banking group with an extensive network spanning hundreds of branches and offices across multiple continents. Known for their long history of financial stability and deep-rooted corporate values, they are currently executing a massive technology transformation. They are seeking a heavyweight leader to centralize and mature their global security hygiene and infrastructure operations.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Group Infrastructure Management Lead. This is a high-visibility, enterprise-level governance role carrying absolute accountability for the institution's infrastructure resilience across all operational territories.

This is not a hands-on technical execution role. Instead, it is a highly strategic position designed for a diplomatic leader who can operate at the intersection of complex vendor contracts, regional financial regulations, and cross-functional technology teams. The successful candidate will harmonize fragmented processes, drive automation, and hold major external vendors strictly accountable to service delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the single, global owner for the end-to-end Infrastructure Patch Management lifecycle. Establish, maintain, and continuously uplift common process blueprints and governance controls across the entire enterprise.
  • Take full contractual and operational ownership of services delivered by global external managed service providers. Drive the expansion of active governance from limited scope to full coverage, holding third parties strictly accountable for SLA delivery and quality of outcomes.
  • Bridge the gap between core infrastructure and Information Security units to align on vulnerability (CVE) prioritization. Ensure all patch deployment records, evidence, and reporting frameworks are perpetually inspection-ready for internal auditors and regional central banks.
  • Act as the primary coordination point between core infrastructure teams, internal application custodians, and external partners to smoothly resolve conflicts regarding maintenance downtime, sequencing, and risk acceptance.
  • Standardize KPIs and design executive-ready dashboards highlighting patch coverage velocity, exceptions, and risk trends for downstream risk and management forums.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of senior leadership within Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Hygiene, or Patch/Vulnerability Management at a global enterprise scale.
  • Deep experience governing and managing multi-million dollar outsourced technology contracts and major third-party IT vendors.
  • A demonstrated ability to centralize fragmented operational models and drive unified workflows across diverse, matrixed business units.
  • Strong command of technology risk frameworks, control matrices, and cybersecurity metrics (CVSS/CVE tracking).

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior experience operating within a highly regulated Financial Services or Corporate Banking environment.
  • Direct experience facing central bank or regional regulatory inspections regarding technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, or IT operations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills; capable of translating dense technical risks into clear, narrative-driven insights for executive and C-suite management.

Interested candidates may apply through the application system or send it to [Confidential Information]. Shortlisted candidates will be notified.
