Senior Infrastructure Engineer (OpenStack) - 2 year contract

We arepartnering with a leading Financial Organization in Singapore to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical Platform Engineering team responsible for designing and managing critical cloud infrastructure.

Reporting to the Platform Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for a mix of new implementation (Build) and operational support (Run). The primary focus of this role is the integration of Red Hat OpenStack with Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure.
• Lead the integration of OpenStack with Kubernetes and OpenShift systems.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts (Ansible/Terraform) for deployment.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with a lean, high-performing team to drive capacity planning and performance optimization.

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of relevant infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Red Hat Linux Administration.
• Experience with VMware ESX, Prometheus, Elastic Stack, and IaC tools (Terraform) is highly desirable.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for stakeholder management.
