Job Title: IT Security Officer (ITSO)

Job Description
We are seeking IT Security Officers (ITSOs) to support the Board's Cybersecurity Team by ensuring the security, compliance, and monitoring of IT systems across on-premise and cloud environments (GDC, GCC, GCC+). The role involves security monitoring, vulnerability management, compliance reviews, and governance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system security reviews, hardening checks, and risk assessments (CIS Benchmarks)
- Perform compliance reviews and support remediation of security findings
- Monitor and respond to phishing, malware, vulnerability, and CSPM alerts
- Work with Cloud Security Engineers on CSPM findings (e.g. Cloudscape)
- Track and follow up on remediation actions with system and infrastructure teams
- Provide security advice for new systems, projects, and enhancements
- Support audits and respond to security-related RFIs
- Prepare monthly security status reports
- Conduct IT security awareness training for users
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of cloud cybersecurity experience (cloud & on-prem, preferably GCC)
- At least one security certification: CISSP / CISM / CRISC / CISA
- Familiarity with CSPM and security tools such as:
- Azure Log Analytics
- AWS CloudWatch / AWS Security Hub
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
