About Role

The IT Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to integrate and streamline all IT and software systems across the Group. The incumbent will lead in-house IT software development, manage outsourced IT projects with external vendors, oversee daily IT operations, and ensure robust infrastructure setup for new project sites. This role requires both strategic and hands-on management of the IT department, including budgeting, team leadership, and ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with overall business goals.

Responsibilities

Led or supported SAP implementations across relevant modules, managing stakeholders, timelines, and system readiness.

Strong understanding of SAP processes and integration points, with experience driving change management and user training during implementation.

Hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects, including end-to-end lifecycle involvement

Develop strategy to link up and integrate all Group IT systems and software, ensuring interoperability and scalability.

Lead new in-house IT software development initiatives to support business operations and growth.

Manage outsourcing of IT software development, including vendor evaluation, project scoping, monitoring, and delivery oversight.

Provide strategic input on IT roadmap, aligning technology with business priorities and operational requirements.

Oversee the day-to-day management of IT department operations, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.

Plan and implement IT infrastructure and connectivity for new project sites, ensuring timely readiness for operations.

Establish, review, and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Ensure strong IT governance, cybersecurity practices, and data protection measures across all systems.

Manage and deliver technology-related projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

Coordinate with external vendors, subcontractors, and partners to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.

Continuously review IT contracts, vendor agreements, and procurement to optimize value and manage risks.

Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring clarity of roles, performance accountability, and professional growth.

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, making recommendations for IT investments and acquisitions.

Monitor resource utilization, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company standards.

Support the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Act as the key point of contact for IT matters with management, business units, and external partners.

Foster collaboration across departments to maximize the value of IT systems and solutions.

Ensure consistent communication on IT initiatives, progress, and challenges.

Any ad-hoc assignments / projects assigned by senior management.

Requirements

Strong leadership and people management skills, with ability to build and lead a high-performing IT team.

Experience in managing outsourced IT development projects and vendor relationships.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure setup (e.g., networks, servers, cloud solutions) and site deployment.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Expertise in Power BI.

Experience in SAP/ERP systems.
