Job Description

Part of the APAC Human Resources team and reporting directly to the Chief Workforce Officer, the Human Resources Senior Executive will support 3 core areas which includes talent acquisition, HR business partnering and employee communications and engagement activities both in Singapore and the region. In addition, the HR Senior Executive will assist in ESG administrative matters as well as various areas of local HR operations and regional projects.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Motul Employee Value Proposition in the context of the open role, function, and local market
  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers to understand business and hiring needs
  • Create job descriptions which are in line with the Motul branding and tonality
  • Identify sourcing channels to support recruitment strategy and take full ownership of the recruitment process
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, scheduling of interviews and managing candidate interaction
  • Assist with compensation proposals and facilitate offer to prospective hires

HR Business Partner Support

  • Demonstrates understanding of the employment market including local labour regulations & changes in statutory polices to support HR activities in the respective countries
  • Handle employee onboarding activities in collaboration with IT, Finance and Admin teams
  • Support the planning of induction and new hire training programmes, as well as employee offboarding activities

Engagement & Communications

  • Support the deployment of activities specifically in terms of employee value proposition & employee engagement.
  • Co-create employee communication & engagement content for the various internal platforms & channels (e.g. Newsletter, Yammer, Townhall, etc.)
  • Develop a strong understanding of employee's needs in order to improve employee experience and engagement.
  • Be involved in the planning and deployment of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives locally.

ESG

  • Support the publication of Motul's Sustainability Report. This includes assisting with content development such as writing, editing, producing, and curating content and coordinating with stakeholders in various teams to procure stories and features to be included in the report.

HR Projects Support

  • Support in planning, scheduling, and execution of regional initiatives & projects. Activities may include data analysis, presentations development.
  • Work together with the regional HR team on any other ad-hoc projects, and the overall improvement of the HR function across Asia

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Degree holder with at least 4 years of working experience in a HR function with good exposure to employee engagement & internal communications
  • Regional exposure working with international stakeholder is an advantage
  • Creative with strong copywriting and language skills
  • Working knowledge of internal and external communications & engagement platforms, channels & tools.
  • Someone with an inquisitive mind and not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
  • A driven self-starter who is willing to undertake projects and display an ownership mindset
  • Someone who is highly adaptable, meticulous and resourceful
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
