Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced Senior People Operations Specialist to take ownership of payroll and HR processes across fast-scaling, international environments. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate execution, legal compliance, and operational excellence across multiple countries, with a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end global payroll operations, ensuring precision and adherence to local tax and labor laws.
- Develop and continuously enhance employment contract templates in collaboration with legal teams and EOR partners.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycleonboarding, offboarding, and internal changeswhile maintaining clean and accurate HRIS data.
- Build and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs); identify opportunities to automate and streamline people processes.
- Work cross-functionally with HRBPs, Legal, and Finance to support audits, generate reports, and ensure compliance in compensation practices.
- Analyze HR and payroll data to drive recommendations that improve total rewards strategies, data accuracy, and employee satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of direct experience managing HR operations and payroll across multiple countries or territories.
- Demonstrated ability to handle payroll and employee data independently for a workforce of 100 or more.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable using HRIS platforms to manage and report on employee information.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR practices in at least one key APAC country.
- Meticulous with data, process-driven, and accountable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to operate effectively in bilingual environments.
