Position Overview
We are seeking a Chinese-speaking HR Executive or Senior HR Executive with strong recruitment experience to support an elite international school's hiring needs and overall HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to talent acquisition and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
For more experienced candidates, additional responsibilities in HR operations, payroll, employee engagement, and HR administration may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Partner with school leaders and department heads to understand hiring requirements and workforce planning needs.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job portals, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for academic and non-academic positions.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the school's visibility in the talent market.
HR Operations
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support the administration of employment contracts, confirmations, renewals, and HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations and internal HR procedures.
Additional Responsibilities (Senior HR Level)
- Support payroll preparation and coordination.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics.
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate staff training and professional development initiatives.
- Organize employee engagement activities and team-building programs.
- Provide HR advisory support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end hiring processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and HR practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Mandarin is required due to the need to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and counterparts
