Senior HR Executive (Construction)

Responsibilities

. Manage end-to-end recruitment for both permanent roles and event-based freelancers (e.g., promoters, ushers, production crew).

. Partner with project managers to anticipate and plan manpower requirements for upcoming events.

. Address employee relations matters, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, with professionalism and discretion.

. Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

. Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff and freelancers, including customer service, health & safety, and event protocols.

. Oversee HR operations such as payroll, contracts, and employee documentation, particularly for freelance and contract staff.

. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and workplace safety regulations.

. Review and update HR policies and handbooks to align with company growth and industry standards.

. Lead employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and wellness programs.

Requirements

. Proven experience in HR management, preferably in events, hospitality, or fast-paced industries with freelance workforce exposure.

. Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent pipeline building, and workforce planning.

. Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

. Familiarity with local labour laws and HR compliance requirements.

. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in HR operations and documentation.

. Passion for people development, culture building, and employee engagement.
