We are looking for a Senior HR Executive / Assistant Human Resources (HR) Manager to independently manage core HR functions with a strong focus on Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Disciplinary Matters.
This role carries end-to-end ownership of HR processes with expertise in local employment laws to help advise management and drive HR compliance. The successful candidate will function as a key HR partner to the business, operating beyond a transactional HR role and contributing to a fair, effective, and compliant workplace aligned with Singapore employment practices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, interviews, offers, checks and onboarding.
- Work closely with HODs on manpower hiring, understanding business needs and individual role requirements.
- Work closely with the COO and regional HQ team for yearly manpower planning, performance management exercise and HR budgeting and forecast.
- Go-to HR Advisor to provide hiring recommendations, advice and workforce insights to the COO and HODs where applicable.
- Oversee and have acute understanding of payroll, work pass matters, HR monthly/quarterly reporting and operational processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Maintain good connections with educational institutions with respect to internship opportunities.
- Plan and administer training programs as required.
- Spearhead internal welfare initiatives and events (e.g. health & wellness, recognition programs) and organize monthly and annual group-wide engagement events to foster team cohesion and a positive organizational culture.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Singapore employment laws and MOM guidelines. Keep Abreast of changes in MOM guidelines and update management and policies accordingly.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and select administrative matters.
- Able to handle grievances, conflicts, and workplace issues professionally and confidentially. Confident in managing grievances with external agencies when the need arises.
- Conduct investigations into misconduct or performance issues internally and implement appropriate action plans.
- Supervise and mentor a HR Officer.
About you
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a Senior HR Executive or Assistant HR Manager capacity is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Problem solver attitude and willing to contribute to company success.
- Experience in Infotech HRMS is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage HR matters independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience handling employee relations and disciplinary cases is preferred.
