About the Role

An established, customer-facing organization with a distributed workforce is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support its Singapore operations. This role will partner closely with business leaders and frontline teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, providing both strategic HR guidance and hands-on support across the employee lifecycle.

You will play a key role in strengthening workforce engagement, enabling operational efficiency, and ensuring people practices are aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Work directly with business leaders to support organizational priorities and workforce plans
  • Provide practical HR advice on team structure, employee matters, and performance outcomes
  • Support the rollout of people initiatives that enhance productivity and engagement

Employee Relations & Workforce Environment

  • Manage and advise on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders on topics relating to workforce representation and structured employee groups where applicable
  • Support employee listening initiatives (e.g., pulse discussions, ground engagements) to identify improvement areas
  • Build strong visibility across multiple sites to understand employee sentiment and operational challenges

Performance & Talent Management

  • Guide managers on performance conversations, employee development, and retention strategies
  • Support identification of high-potential employees and development planning
  • Work with leaders to address capability gaps within teams

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local employment regulations and internal policies
  • Support implementation of HR programs, processes, and frameworks at a local level
  • Collaborate with wider HR teams to maintain consistency across practices

Workforce Engagement & Presence

  • Maintain a regular, visible presence across business locations to build trust with employees
  • Act as a key point of contact for on-the-ground teams, providing timely and practical HR support
  • Stay connected to operational realities and workforce dynamics

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of HR business partnering experience
  • Strong experience managing employee relations in multi-site or frontline workforce environments (e.g., retail, logistics, services, operations-heavy industries)
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment legislation and workplace practices
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage sensitive situations
  • Comfortable balancing strategic input with hands-on execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
