Job Summary
Join a leading warehousing and logistics company as a Senior Officer, HR & Admin, where you will lead comprehensive HR operations to drive compliance, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR operations by managing recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, and offboarding processes including conducting exit interviews to ensure smooth employee transitions
- Resolve employee relations issues by serving as a primary contact for staff queries and supporting grievance resolution to maintain a harmonious work environment
- Execute accurate and timely monthly payroll processing, including preparation of payroll journals and documentation to ensure compliance and financial accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of attendance, leave, and staff movements to support operational transparency and reporting
- Manage all work pass processes including application, renewal, cancellation, and tax clearance to ensure legal compliance with employment regulations
- Administer statutory claims such as NS, childcare, maternity, medical, and insurance claims while maintaining audit-ready HR records for regulatory adherence
- Support talent development initiatives by assisting with training needs analysis, coordinating learning programs, and evaluating post-course effectiveness to enhance workforce capabilities
- Assist in the performance appraisal process to facilitate employee growth and organizational alignment
- Drive employee engagement by organizing staff welfare activities, company events, and fostering a positive corporate culture that supports retention and motivation
Required competencies and certifications
- Deep knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and CPF regulations to ensure HR practices comply with statutory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage HR data and reporting efficiently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Info-Tech HRMS to streamline HR management system processes
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR, Admin, and Payroll demonstrating capability to manage comprehensive HR functions independently
- Attributes of high integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently under pressure
Other Information
- Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Location: Initially based in Lavender, with an upcoming relocation to the West Coast
