To lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of process tools within our cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication facility. This role is critical in ensuring seamless utility connections, integration with fab systems, and optimal equipment performance to support high-yield and high-efficiency manufacturing operations.
Principal Accountabilities:
. Tool Hook-Up Leadership: Lead all phases of cleanroom tool hook-up including pre-installation planning, rigging, placement, and utility connections (bulk & specialty gases, chemicals, ultra-pure water, exhaust, power, and chilled water).
. System Integration: Coordinate with facility engineers, equipment vendors, and contractors to ensure accurate integration of tools into the fab infrastructure. Interfacing matter including wall openings, structure, ducts, pipe, conduit and other items as required. Review and approve hookup designs, P&IDs, and engineering plans.
. Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed schedules for tool installations, monitor progress, report status to senior management, and proactively resolve delays or issues. Manage cleanroom related projects, such as upgrading, expansion projects
. Process & Safety Compliance: Ensure all tool installations and operations comply with cleanroom protocols, EHS regulations, and industry standards. Perform quality and safety inspections post-installation.
. Technical Expertise & Support: Provide handson technical guidance for troubleshooting and resolving tool startup issues support commissioning and continuous improvement activities.
. Documentation & SOP Development: Prepare and maintain accurate records of utility connections, tool configurations, calibration data, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise and mentor technicians and contractors, foster cross-functional teamwork, and drive performance improvements through process optimization.
. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost optimization, reliability enhancements, and adoption of best practices in tool installation and maintenance.
. Carry out Facilities work request as assigned And any other tasks as assigned by the Section Manager/Department Manager.
Job Requirement :
. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering. Project Management or relevant discipline / PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
. Minimum 3-5 years of work experience on M&E and Wafer Fab Hook Up Work.
. Good management and presentation skills
. Good technical knowledge in Facility systems
. Good interpersonal and communication skills
. Able to lead and coordinate to the team
