Research (50%)
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to identify problems and formulate research strategies
- Design and conduct health services research, including study design, data analysis and outcome evaluation
- Analyse and interpret healthcare data using statistical tools and machine learning techniques
- Prepare and present findings through conference and journal publications
- Assess and enhance data sources and data-gathering methods
Advanced Analytics & Operational Work (50%)
- Support descriptive and diagnostic analytics initiatives
- Contribute to quality improvement projects
- Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage and interrogate data
- Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to solve healthcare-related problems
- Support administrative work related to research and operational activities
Requirements:
- PhD and/or Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or relevant discipline
- 4 to 5 years of experience in analytics and research
- Expertise in health services research (HSR) and applied statistics, including study design, data analysis and outcome evaluation
- Experience developing and implementing data-driven solutions for healthcare improvement
- Proficiency in AI methodologies such as machine learning and predictive modelling where applicable
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R
- Experience using Tableau and Microsoft applications
- Proven ability to independently manage projects from conceptualisation through to implementation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
