Senior Health Pricing Actuary, Reinsurance (SEA)

We are seeking a technically strong Pricing Actuary with a strong track record in the health portfolio to lead treaty-level pricing, deep-dive experience analysis, and GLM-based portfolio monitoring - with direct client exposure and a small team to guide in a top-tier global reinsurer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical pricing and re-pricing reviews for health insurance treaties, including deep-dive experience analyses and best-estimate assumption setting
• Monitor treaty-level portfolio performance, identifying adverse segments and driving remedial pricing action
• Build and advance automated pricing/monitoring tools, including GLM-based approaches
• Partner with underwriters and medical experts on new health product design and emerging risk features
• Own client-facing delivery: Present portfolio analyses, product ideas, and pricing rationale directly to clients
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of actuaries

Critical Requirements

• Qualified Actuary with 15+ years experience, including 10+ years in Pricing/R&D with hands-on Health assumption-building
• Life & Health reinsurance background is advantageous
• Strong data and analytics skills: SQL/Python (or equivalent), advanced Excel, and GLM/statistical modelling capability
• Proven experience managing or leading a small technical team
• Working knowledge of Southeast Asia health insurance markets, regulation, and commercial dynamics
