Your Job

We are seeking a Sr Engineer, Hardware to design and develop nextgeneration Active Electrical Cable (AEC) products for hyperscale data center customers. In this role, you will contribute to highperformance interconnect technology and collaborate with global engineering teams to drive innovation in highspeed hardware development.

Our Team

You will be part of the DSS Hardware Engineering Team, working closely with crossfunctional partners in Signal Integrity, Mechanical Engineering, Firmware, and Test Engineering. The team collaborates globally to deliver advanced interconnect solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Hardware Design of High-Speed PCBs utilizing communications chipsets and microcontrollers, along with associated memory, clocking and power components.
  • Work closely with signal integrity and mechanical engineers to develop next-generation 112-224G high-speed interconnect active subsystems and modules.
  • Oversee the digital and power aspects of PCB Layout.
  • Collaborate with the firmware development and product test teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware related issues from initial board bring-up through product validation, and to factory/field issues.
  • Create test plans and perform hardware design validation tests.
  • Support fabrication and assembly from first prototypes through volume production.
  • Assist with production handovers and provide support for released products.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant hardware engineering experience
  • Experience designing highspeed mixedsignal hardware, schematic creation, PCB constraints management, and layout review
  • Familiarity with the full product development lifecycle
  • Experience collaborating with Mechanical, SI, Firmware, and Test teams
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Experience with PI simulation (ANSYS SiWave preferred) and SI analysis (IBIS models)
  • Ability to support occasional international travel and flexible work hours when working with global teams

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience with pluggable modules such as QSFP/QSFPDD/OSFP or PCIe
  • Experience mentoring or supervising technicians/engineers
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Ability to lead initiatives while being an effective team player
