RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure and assist with their luggage.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Office team to provide courteous and efficient service to guests.
- Establish rapport with in-house and long-staying guests, offering assistance as needed.
- Respond efficiently and tactfully to guests requests and enquires, including hotel facilities and services, as well as general information beyond the hotel (e.g. local attractions, transportation options, dining recommendations, etc.).
- Liaise closely with Reception on guests arrival and departure.
- Make courtesy calls to guests.
- Stay well-versed and updated on all tourists related information, events and conferences.
- Manage guest baggage storage, as well as the delivery of parcels and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records by updating the movements log including delivery of luggage, parcels to guest rooms, and baggage stored or retrieved.
- Ensure the lobby, driveway, and luggage storage areas are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Stay informed about the day's events within the hotel and assist guests or visitors with directions and relevant information as required.
- Oversee and maintain smooth traffic flow at the hotel driveway
- Requisite and keep stock of promotional materials for daily operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors, carrying them out diligently and professionally.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Secondary school education or equivalent hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Good knowledge of local attractions, transport, and dining options to assist guests effectively.
- Ability to handle luggage and perform standing/walking duties.
- Team player who can coordinate with Front Office and other departments.
- Neat and well-groomed appearance with a service-oriented mindset.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
