The GTM Partnerships team is responsible for expanding Airwallex's partner relationships across key industries, including Accounting, Start-ups, and Ecommerce. This role will be based in Singapore and will focus on developing and managing partnerships with Japanese multinational companies and Japanese-headquartered businesses with operations across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage relationships with Airwallex ambassadors and strategic partners, particularly within the accounting, e-commerce, technology, and start-up ecosystems.
- Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (where required), onboarding, activation, and ongoing relationship management.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through partner-generated referrals and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Strategy, Operations, Product, and Finance to deliver a seamless partner experience.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with partners and develop long-term strategic relationships.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Airwallex's partner ecosystem and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Who you are
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of B2B experience managing and growing technology, fintech, SaaS, or related partnerships.
- Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development.
- Experience in strategy, operations, technology, fintech, or a fast-growing start-up environment is advantageous.
- Existing relationships or network within accounting, technology, e-commerce, start-up, or professional services ecosystems are preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other business analysis tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is required. This role will regularly engage with Japanese-speaking decision makers, partners, and stakeholders from Japanese multinational companies and Japanese-headquartered businesses operating in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The ability to conduct business discussions, relationship management, and commercial negotiations in Japanese is essential.
