Job Overview
You will lead Dyson's global NPD (New Product Development) Retail Training content strategy, acting as the central authority for all learning deliverables across direct and indirect retail channels. Balancing strategic vision and operational detail, you'll own the framework and execution of all training toolkits, eLearning modules, and experiential content for all NPDs. You'll manage a diverse team, partner with Commercial, Retail, Engineering, and local market experts, and drive innovation and excellence in our people development approach.
Role and responsibilities
Training Strategy & Vision
Own and shape the global NPD retail training strategy-driving future-fit, brand-led education across all retail touchpoints.
Deliver authentic, consistent, and scalable train the trainer programmes and training toolkits globally, balancing big-picture vision with day-to-day operational agility.
Continually evolve content through market feedback, industry trends, and ongoing analysis of learning effectiveness.
NPD Toolkit & Content Lead
Lead the design, development, and rollout of all NPD training toolkits and launch materials, ensuring flawless execution and impactful learning for every new product.
Act as advisor to influence cross-functional stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise on retail experiences and demos for each NPD
Partner with commercial and creative leads, secure resources for training deliverables to ensure NPD readiness, and maintain Dyson's standards for quality and consistency across all deliverables.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Dyson's digital learning platforms, supporting eLearning localisation and innovative content development through the use of AI tools
People Management & Development
Directly manage, coach, and grow a high-performing team responsible for content creation, local market engagement, and digital learning.
Nurture a learning community, connecting with local to facilitate feedback and foster best practices.
Key skills & competencies
Proven expertise in creating and managing retail and NPD training programmes at a global level.
Track record in content development (including ADDIE methodology), deploying digital learning, and leading high-performing teams.
Practical experience in retail environments and learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone).
Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and collaborate across diverse, global teams.
Strategic thinking, people management, and operational execution.
Relationship building, influencing, and cross-functional leadership.
