Rhino Partners is seeking a Senior GIS Engineer with deep expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and FME. This role is focused on configuring, customising, and integrating ESRI ArcGIS solutions for large-scale government and enterprise projects. You will lead geospatial application development, optimise spatial data services, and provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, customisation, and implementation of GIS applications using ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise
- Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services and spatial analysis
- Design and optimise FME workflows for spatial data transformation and integration
- Improve GIS performance and scalability through query optimisation and architectural best practices
- Provide technical leadership in geospatial solution design and architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into enterprise platforms
- Conduct code reviews, ensure quality standards, and document technical specifications
- Troubleshoot complex spatial data issues and provide technical consultation
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in GIS development and spatial data analysis
- Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise suite:
-ArcGIS Server
-ArcGIS Portal
-ArcGIS Enterprise SDK
-ArcGIS Pro
- Proven experience with FME Desktop and FME Server
- Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs for spatial services
- Strong understanding of spatial databases (Oracle Spatial, PostGIS)
- Basic scripting skills in Python for GIS automation
- Familiarity with web mapping technologies and OGC standards
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with Singapore Government GIS projects and OneMap APIs
- Knowledge of Singapore Government Technology Stack (SGTS) and security policies
- ESRI Technical Certifications
- Exposure to cloud-based GIS solutions and spatial big data processing
- Experience with 3D GIS applications
- Contributions to enterprise-level GIS implementations and spatial ETL workflows
