Liaise with client and develop design concepts and basis of design to set direction of design.
Check engineering deliverables and assure technical integrity of design.
Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
Carry out various types of geotechnical design and analysis - deep excavations, shafts, tunnels, slopes, foundations, etc.
Carry out appropriate design of structural nature where required.
Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum eight (8) years of geotechnical engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control and eligible for application as a Resident Engineer
Recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer
At least five (5) years of experience in construction supervision of geotechnical work for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
Experience with LTA projects would be advantageous.
Ability to thoroughly analyze and research information.
