Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description :

Responsible for the execution of civil, structural or geotechnical design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead a team of Engineers and support the Director of the department with projects in the pipeline.

Responsibilities

. Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures, geotechnical, underground excavation and tunneling works.

. Carry out analysis design of buildings and infrastructure.

. Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.

. Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical matters.

. Train and support junior engineers.

Requirements

. Civil Engineering Degree from a reputable institution. Degrees recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore are preferred.

. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Structural / Geotechnical design.

. Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools.

. Independent, organized with positive work attitude.

. Knowledge of design codes like Euro Code 2, 3.

. Good communication and presentation skills.

. Effective team player.
