Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description

• Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments in compliance with JTC and BCA regulations.
• Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to inform foundation and earthwork designs.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, risk assessments, and design recommendations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Review and approve method statements, instrumentation plans, and monitoring data.
• Provide technical support during construction, including slope stability, ground improvement, and deep excavation.
• Monitor site safety and environmental compliance in accordance with WSH and JTC standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality of geotechnical components.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (PE certification preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in geotechnical design and supervision, ideally in public infrastructure.
• Familiar with Singapore Codes of Practice, BCA/URA/JTC submission requirements.
• Proficient in geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, SLOPE/W, Settle3D).
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
