Main Job Responsibilities
- Handle fund accounting activities for Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, including reconciliations, NAV calculations, and accruals.
- Prepare Capital Account Statements for investors.
- Prepare and issue Capital Call and Distribution notices.
- Prepare Financial Statements and quarterly reporting packages.
- Prepare waterfall and equalisation models.
- Liaise with auditors and support year-end audit processes.
- Support the implementation and onboarding of new fund launches.
- Participate in process enhancement and improvement projects.
- Assist in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and compliance matters.
- Assist in FATCA and CRS reporting and compliance procedures.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate closely with cross-functional service teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and/or CPA qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting.
- Strong understanding of Private Equity fund operations, including fund structures, waterfall models, equalisation, and fund accounting processes.
- Knowledge of the Investran system will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
