Senior Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a fast-paced project focused on building data-intensive, map-driven web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in modern frontend technologies and experience working with large datasets and geospatial systems.

This role requires a highly independent engineer with strong ownership and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs

• Develop interactive, data-driven user interfaces (charts, dashboards, dynamic controls)

• Integrate and optimize interactive map components (Leaflet, MapLibre, or similar)

• Optimize application performance for large and data-heavy datasets

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product and design

• Ensure clean, maintainable, and production-ready code

• Take ownership of features from design through deployment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:Next.js/React/TypeScript

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

• Experience developing data visualization interfaces

• Experience integrating mapping libraries (Leaflet, MapLibre, Mapbox, or similar)

• Experience optimizing performance for complex, data-heavy applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

• Familiarity with geospatial concepts (CRS, raster data, map tiles)

• Experience working with scientific or large datasets (e.g., NetCDF, GeoTIFF)

• Experience with geospatial processing libraries or tools

• Experience in building data dashboards or analytical platforms
