Senior Full-stack Engineer

Kyberlife is building the next-generation open marketplace for life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare product trading. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling mission-critical systems that power our marketplace ecosystem. You will work across multiple product domains, lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive architecture decisions as our business rapidly evolves.

What you will be doing

• Lead the design and development of scalable full-stack web applications for buyers to browse, source, request quotations, and purchase diverse medical products and equipment through our marketplace platform.
• Architect and enhance seller-facing platforms that enable vendors to manage their online storefronts, catalogues, pricing, inventory, and order workflows.
• Build and improve internal operational systems used by Kyberlife teams for critical business processes such as onboarding, compliance checks, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and workflow automation.
• Design and develop backend microservices supporting payments, catalog ingestion, bulk product uploads, pricing engines, and transaction processing.
• Drive integrations with external partners, suppliers, and principals to automate synchronization of products, pricing, quotations, and purchase orders in both directions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, eliminating manual processes and increasing business efficiency.
• Own technical architecture decisions, system reliability, security, and performance across distributed systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate changing priorities into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software architecture.
• Extensive experience building modern web applications using React.js, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core (C#) for backend services and API development.
• Deep experience with relational database design, performance tuning, and production-scale SQL systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, containerization, and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux command-line tools and engineering workflows.
• Solid understanding of REST, RPC, and service-oriented or microservice architectures.
• Experience leading technical projects and making sound engineering trade-offs in high-growth environments.
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving business priorities.
