One of our early-stage AI portfolio companies in the synthetic data domain is looking to hire a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join the team and help with building tools and simulation at the cutting edge of physical AI.
Responsibilities
- Own the End-to-End - Drive entire systems from problem definition and system design to production deployment and maintenance
- Shape the Architecture - Make foundational design decisions that guide the technical direction of our platform
- Be a True Generalist - Move fluidly between infrastructure, backend, and frontend work depending on the highest priority needs
- Collaborate & Translate - Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand complex requirements and translate them into elegant technical solutions
- Elevate the Team - Raise the engineering bar across the company through rigorous code quality, tooling improvements, and mentorship
- Full Stack Development: Design and build production systems spanning infrastructure, backend services, databases, APIs, and user-facing frontend applications
- AI-Assisted Engineering: Effectively leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate shipping velocity without sacrificing code quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven track record of working across infrastructure, backend, and frontend. You are comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases and picking up new technologies quickly
- Deep proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or C++.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deploying complex systems at scale
- Strong fundamentals in distributed system design, data modeling, and API architecture.
- You have a history of shipping, maintaining, and supporting systems—not just contributing isolated features
