About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, and AWS to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications using modern microservices architecture and responsive front-end technologies.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for building end-to-end enterprise applications, developing REST APIs, designing secure backend services, and creating intuitive Angular-based user interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that are scalable, secure, and performant.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
• Build scalable and reusable application components following modern software engineering principles.
• Develop highly responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions aligned with business requirements.

Backend Development

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build microservices-based applications following domain-driven design principles.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement business logic, validations, and service integrations.
• Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications.

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular.
• Create reusable Angular components, services, directives, and modules.
• Consume REST APIs and integrate backend services with the UI.
• Optimize application performance and user experience.
• Implement client-side validation, routing, and state management.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

Database Development

• Design and develop relational database schemas using PostgreSQL.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Work with AWS RDS PostgreSQL for database deployment and management.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure database integrity, backup, and recovery strategies.

Cloud Development

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Work with AWS services including:
• AWS RDS (PostgreSQL)
• EC2
• S3
• IAM
• CloudWatch
• Lambda (preferred)
• Implement cloud security and infrastructure best practices.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and scaling in AWS environments.

Microservices Architecture

• Design and implement loosely coupled microservices.
• Develop API-first applications using RESTful principles.
• Implement service-to-service communication.
• Build resilient and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Ensure scalability and high availability.

API Development & Integration

• Design secure REST APIs.
• Integrate enterprise applications and third-party systems.
• Implement JSON/XML-based data exchange.
• Develop API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Troubleshoot API performance and integration issues.

Performance Optimization

• Identify application bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Improve response times through efficient coding and database tuning.
• Perform code profiling and performance analysis.
• Optimize memory utilization and application scalability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Write unit and integration test cases.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Support functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Maintain high code quality using static code analysis tools.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

CI/CD & DevOps

• Work with Git-based version control systems.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline release management.
• Ensure smooth production deployments and rollback strategies.

Production Support

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support.
• Troubleshoot application, API, and database issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Support application upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Agile Collaboration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews
• Retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.
