Senior Full Stack Developer + Devops

We are seeking a competent software engineer with demonstrated experience in both full stack development (Java and CSS, React or Angular) application development and DevOps practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications, as well as building and operating continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle-from requirements analysis and coding to deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development (Java)

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications, with emphasis on Spring Boot microservices and batch processing systems.
  
• at least 2 years of experience in front end development CSS, HTML, React or Angular Js
• Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and messaging infrastructure (Kafka, IBM MQ).
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot application issues including performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and concurrency problems.

DevOps Engineering

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (basic to intermediate proficiency).

• Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or on-premises OpenShift).

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory

• Min 5 years of professional experience in Java development, API, Microservices, Spring, Spring Boot
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, including active management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems in production or pre-production environments.
• Ability to write shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with both development and operations teams.
• Good experience with databases such as Oracle and sql and experience working with kafka

• Familiarity with Jenkins or Kubernetes.

• Demonstrates attention to observability, logging, and alerting practices.

• Exhibits professionalism when addressing build or deployment failures.=
