Senior Full Set Accountant (Retail Group)

About the Role

Our client is a growing multi-entity retail group currently in a pre-operational setup phase. They are seeking a Senior Full Set Accountant to support the setup of accounting structures and manage end-to-end accounting operations, with the opportunity to grow into a lead role as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for multiple entities

• Set up accounting framework, chart of accounts, and internal controls

• Prepare monthly management accounts and basic financial reports

• Manage GST matters including registration, filing, and IRAS compliance

• Handle AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external service providers

• Support pre-operational setup and transition into live operations

• Assist in supervising junior accounting staff as workload grows

Requirements

• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant full set accounting experience

• Hands-on GST experience

• Exposure to retail / trading and/or multi-entity environments

• Comfortable working independently in a setup / growth-phase business

• Structured, reliable, and execution-focused

• Able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
