Senior Frontend Developer

Summary

A global financial services firm is in search of a senior frontend developer to create a pivotal market infrastructure service as part of a new initiative. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of top-notch products within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Role Description

• Lead the development of modern React applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Design and implement robust state management solutions and reusable component libraries.
• Optimize application performance and accessibility, while enabling efficient real-time data handling.
• Collaborate closely on API architecture and seamless integration with backend services.
• Define and drive comprehensive testing strategies, maintaining high code quality standards.
• Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices and modern development methodologies.

Key Requirements

• Desirable to have a Bachelor's or Post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on frontend development experience with strong experience with React 18+, TypeScript, and advanced state management
• Expert in building responsive UIs with React Router, styling via SCSS, CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS, and implementing scalable component architectures aligned with design systems and micro-frontends.
• Strong architectural knowledge of Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), modular design, and micro-frontend strategies.
• Proven ability to optimize performance, improve Core Web Vitals, and enhance rendering efficiency at scale.
• Comprehensive testing skills across unit, integration, and E2E using Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, with code quality enforced through ESLint, Prettier, and Git hooks.
• Solid understanding of web security, WCAG 2.1 accessibility, SEO best practices, and internationalization (i18n) for global user experiences.
• Skilled in real-time technologies (WebSockets, REST APIs, GraphQL) and experienced with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Storybook for streamlined development and deployment.
• Preferably experience with financial products and understanding of the trade life cycle
